RF 01 Demo Tennis Racquet
RF 01 Demo Tennis Racquet
Wilson partners with Roger Federer for the RF 01 Demo Tennis Racquet. This model is a part of the RF Collection, representing the successful longstanding partnership between Wilson and Federer. The RF 01 is not a Pro Staff clone, and it was designed with input from Roger to make a racquet that was easier to use and more explosive than the models he used in the past. A special SABR beam design brings performance versatility, allowing for pace, spin, and direction changes - all of which are hallmarks of Federer's game style. Wilson Integrated a smooth bumper and grommet design called Glide Guard to enhance maneuverability and reduce air resistance to increase racquet head speed. Braid 45 returns in the RF 01, though the braid is exclusively carbon for best-in-class stability and ball pocketing. For vibration dampening, the racquet is filled with PU foam which increases comfort as well.
The RF 01 has a 98 square-inch head and a dual taper beam which creates a more forgiving response. The aerodynamic beam makes the racquet faster through the air. The design makes it easier to generate racquet head speed for penetrating ground strokes, but it also makes it easier to play with a variety of spins and impressive stability at the net. The RF 01 has a 16x19 string and it is only 10.6 ounces which makes it much easier for everyone to use. The RF 01 is the Federer racquet for the rest of us, and it is much easier to swing and enjoy than the Pro model.
Features:
-Mobile 10.6-ounce unstrung weight is easy to swing
-Inverted throat taper increases stability.
-98 head size increases the sweet spot.
-Progressive dual taper beam 23.2mm-24mm-22mm enhances power.
-Patented FORTYFIVE° carbon sheets enhance torsional stability for more forgiving off-center shots.
-PU filled for vibration-dampening.
