Quasi Gut Armor 17G Tennis String Reel Blue
Quasi Gut Armor 17G Tennis String Reel Blue
The new Tourna Quasi-Gut Armor 17G Reel string is a perfect match for players searching for comfortable string with great feel as well as those in need of something to hybrid polyester with. The string uses a high tenacity center core with DuPont nylon center wraps. This core is then wrapped with thousands of micro fibers. The USRSA rates this construction 2nd overall ever for comfort in play tests, finishing only behind natural gut. The core and wraps also yield impressive touch and feel, scoring a 3rd place overall finish in USRSA testing. The unique construction finishes by using polyester wraps in the outer layer. These wraps vastly improve durability and delay breakage from stiff poly strings digging in during hybrid use. The 17 gauge diameter offers maximum touch and feel with a potential slight reduction in durability. Frequent stringers will find high value in purchasing the 660 foot reel option, allowing them to lower their cost per string job over the life of the reel. Tourna Quasi-Gut Armor 17G uses innovative materials and construction to provide impressive comfort, feel and solid durability. The result is an excellent string choice for comfort minded players as well as those in search of a string that can stand up to use in a hybrid with poly.
