White - Kevlar 1.10/18G 360 Foot String Reel

The ultimate in durability and spin, Ashaway Kevlar 18g Reel combines aramid fibers with a textured, braided surface for increased bite on the ball. Designed for chronic string breakers seeking durability above all else, this string is most often used in hybrid applications along with a synthetic gut cross in order to keep the stiffness at a reasonable level. The stiffest type of string available, Kevlar also provides the most solid feeling at impact. But, in order to gain the incredible durability offered, the sweet spot size and elasticity are decreased. Our testers felt that this string was best suited to players hitting with extreme pace and topspin who were willing to sacrifice feel and comfort for durability.The higher gauge will provide added feel and a slight decrease in durability.
